Yes, that’s Dave Laird upside down in his plane. Otherwise he has a completely normal perspective on life and compositing. Dave excels at taking a jumble of shots and turning them into the most complex batch setup in flame ever created. But the shot will look perfect in the end. He currently uses Smoke and Flame 2008 to do most of his work, but he has been dabbling with the keying features he swears are in the new Microsoft Office.
