Monsters fail to deter the Tango Tri Team

The charlieuniformtango Triathlon team participated in the Keller Texas Halloween Monster Tri. Hosted at the Keller ISD Natatorium, the team was prepared to be “frightened” into a great race. Costumes ruled the day, as the entire tango team showed up in costume as real athletes. The costumes were convincing to say the least. Fastest time honors were again awarded to team member Alex Campos, finishing the tri in 1:19:50, Jake Kluge turned in a total race time of 1:23:12 and David Hannah had a totel race time of 1:40:39. Race observers will notice however that David Hannah’s time suffered because he had to dig through his bag to get his camera during his second transition. Media first! The team now goes on winter hiatus and begins training for the 2009 spring season.
