One Nation Shows in Austin
charlieuniformtango and Liberal Media films are happy to announce that their hit documentary, One Nation, will be making it’s Austin premiere on October 2nd. The showing will be at The Alamo Draft House on South Lamar, and festivities start at 6 ish.
“One Nation” is the story of 1968 told in chronological order exclusively using footage and commentary from the year. The soundtrack consists of hits from the year as well as lesser known songs from artists of the day.
In looking at the unique events of that singular year in American history, a universal American narrative emerges. This film blends genres as it looks at power vs. protest, affluence vs. poverty, and the struggle for human rights vs. the tyranny of want and ignorance. These struggles continue.
The Film was edited by charlieuniformtango editors Jack Waldrip, Justin Wilson and Tony Wann. Audio work was handled by Russell Smith and the entire production was organized and kept on track by Lola Lott, executive producer and owner of charlieuniformtango and Liberal Media Films.
